Default a lot of questions

I am thinking of buying a 1987 honda preludewith the 2.0L si engine. The guy wants like 2300 for which is way to much but i think i can talk him down to 1500 if i show cash. I was wondering if this car had aftermarket engine up grades readly avalible. Heres what i want to do....
1. aem short ram intake
2.new camshaft
3.magnaflow exhaust
4.some type of turbo charger i would to get one(everything i need piping gauge blowoff valve evrything) for around 1000. I really need help on the turbo seeing as i have never delt with one and i would like to know what all i would need and were i can get on for my year..or my engine i guess. i only want to run like 7-8 psi because i dont want to have to replace the internals.
5.port and polish
6.new plugs and wires.

Any sites that have these parts i would love to know about. i have to get a cheap car like this because i just toltaled my baby . I would buy a more expensive car but i would rather buy a cheaper one and modifie it like with my truck....its an addiction.

Thanks in advance
keegan.

I think the price is way to high for that car unless is in pristine condition for the year. There's a few people whom had posted pretty nice 2nd gens in the showroom and they might tell you what's available for your year. anyway good luck with the project and that's cool seeing someone appretiating older preludes.

yeah before you start with all that, maybe you should do a bit more reading because it seems like you might not have the knowledge you need to do a turbo setup.

Ehhh...buy the car if you want it, but do more research before you do any performance mods. For example, an AEM intake will not have any place in a turbo setup and your exhaust, cam, and most of your parts need to be boost-specific.

there's no way i'd pay 1500 for an 87 prelude.

that's a 600 dollar car, no matter what shape it's in. the engine is a handgrenade, there's no aftermarket support, and aside from looking pretty cool, it's a tuner-dead-end.

2000 bucks picks you up a really nice DA or EF. You can prob find a decent CRX or EG at that price too.
