Looking for custom radiator...
I am looking to get a custom radiator made for a little project I have going on.
I currently have this radiator:

I want to be able to lay it on its side, and have the openings relocated like so:

Now, I know its not likely possible to do with the radiator I have but I was wondering if anyone out there could be able to do something like this.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Julian

it would be just as big, because the way the rows flow. you cant add a neck on the edge of one row. you would have to have new end tanks fabbed to flow around to the side to where you want the filler necks. you need to get a custom one made from scratch.

its not the thickness thats the problem, its the height.

The closest I can think of would be a scirocco radiator like this, it's 22"x13"

Or just call C&R and they can make you pretty much what ever you need.

If thats an aluminum core new endtanks can be welded on. The filler cap would have to be on the top of an endtank though...not mid-core. Its not terribly hard.

For the evo8 kit a evo6 style radiator is needed. They take the customers stock evo8 rad and modify them with new tanks to be evo6 style.

yeah, i believe it is an aluminum core but with plastic endtanks. i dont mind the endtanks ending up in different spots, all i really care about are the dimensions and hose openings being in that spot or close to it.

Check out http://www.summitracing.com for their universal radiators. I found it easier looking through their catalog rather than their website since all the radiators and sizes were in front of me.
