Default project DA

where to start, i bought my car about 3 years ago, stock for the past 2 then the last year. i started saving for a custom turbo kit took me a year to get all the right parts. when i go get the car tuned in the 2nd run the turbo blew piece of metal went every were in the engine. here is a pic of the turbo. so now im build ls vtec 400 wheel hp goal, but i want to re-wire everything get things i dont need out , hide the brake lines basically have the engine just floating on their.

engines is out


about half the wiring


talking all the ac wires out
all the work i did today 12/27/05 all the extra wiring

i havent posted in a while i just started to work on the car again here are some updates
im trying to do a quick disconnect harness. im hiding all the wiring under the fender for the headlights. i simply went to the junk yard and started cutting connectors off so i can do a quick disconnect. this is very time consuming! here some pics

here are the connectors i got from the junk yard

1 day of work with the main harness

i havent updated any thing, ls/vtec, fully built other than sleeves motor show be installed this weekend if i got all my parts.




here the process motor is ready to install just working on the wiring harness to be as hidden as possible, engine should go on tomorrow, my god OEM IS EXPENSIVE little misc parts water pump, pulley , belts and all that cost too much money i think im going broke now!
on wed i broke the stud inside the block to hold the cams, thats a bitch to get out. i also did my home made solid motor mounts turned out nice i think is 90a urathane i believe but enjoy

I can't wait to see your engine bay when it's completed. People that do the tuck and delete everything are awesome, but people that actually bondo all the holes and eveyrhting are my hero.
