Default Help from R owners

Please don’t turn this into a Hugh Intranet war or anything...just give me your input and that’s it...I wanna know IF I try to sell my R how much you THINK I should put it up for. It's got 53k on the tach, motor rebuilt (not because it went bad but for more power) has maaaaybe 10k in miles on it. Car mad 491whp and 354lbs tq at 21 psi...had more but the old clutch wasn’t holding (this was before the Exedy clutch) Cars got a clean title...never been in a wreck. I've got the stock wheels mounted with BFG's for the front I'd be selling with it and a bunch of misc (stock) items. I've got close to 20g's in receipts for almost everything on the car. (I know I'll never get money back for all that I just want the seller to have them incase of thief or insurance reason ect.)

Hey it's the ronald Mcdonald car. Um though for that setup/car/parts you should start at say 20k and go from there. This car will only sell to someone looking for what you have. It's hard to sell a modified car or put a price on it. It really depends on what someone is willing to pay. Your best bet would be to return the car to stock or as close to it as possible, sell the parts and then sell the car. HTH. GL on the sale.

Unless you're ready to take a massive hit, part the car out and return it to stock - you shouldn't have any problems finding the stock parts all over this forum, along with eager buyers looking for your aftermarket goodies.

quiet possibly the easiest way to get rid off it and make most of your money back is to throw as much of the original parts back on and piece the aftermarket goodies seperately

Its hard as hell to sell a car like that. Trust me. I know. If you have patience you can prob sell it. But its hard. Stock is the way to sell, but it takes alot of time with a car like that.
Id honestly try and get closer to $25k IMO.

As others have said, you're gonna get raped unless you return it to stock. You may still take a beating but not nearly as bas as you would if sold as is.

My vote goes for parting the vehicle out and selling it stock as possible. You will get your money back this way for the parts. I know it's a PITA selling nick nack parts, but add a couple $20 parts together and they add up quickly.

You might compare it to this one currently for sale: (Dr pooface)
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1474077

Or, this one already sold: (ITR206 / PM Performance)
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=948185

Good luck.

p.s. reminder, no bumping

Check out my old turbo R I sold. It's was 100% spotless, like new bopdy/interior. I ended up getting $21,900 for it and it took some time.
