Default b18c5 block question

im soon to be getting in the mail is my stroker kit from crower. i was wondering since im going all motor with high compression is the stock walls going to handle 13:1 running 91oct or should i be on the safe side and drop in some darton sleeves?

So you're doin' the 95 stroke on 81 bore deal? or are you going 81.5-82 bore?

You're going with the higher pin location pistons with the pin buttons ?

I just need that sort of info detail to reply properly.

There's plenty of 13:1 CR 81-81.5 bore stock sleeve daily drivers. even the boost peeps can tell you that they run higher cylinder pressures than a 13:1 CR NA with 81 bore daily driven. But I thing you need to give a little bit more detail.

Bore - 81
stroke - 95
displacement - 1.96L

Crower 4340 forged crank (95mm for B18)
Crower 4340 billet stroker rods. Custom length.
CP custom pistons. Modified pin boss for longer rod, specify compression (13:1) & bore size (81).
Premium, H-11 tool steel wrist pins, gapless rings and locks.
ACL rod, main, thrust bearings included with kit.
Crower internal balancing for drop in installation.

with higher pin location piston?

stock sleeves looks good with 81 bore.

I remember in the old days (mid 1990's), Crower would automatically list Benson sleeves as the only option for their stroker kits...not any more. you guys have more options than us like those CP high pin pistons and longer rods.

btw they give you piston pin buttons on that stroker kit right?
