Crx auto to manual tranny swap.
Hey guy's I have a friend whom I'm helping swapping a full SI swap into his DX crx. I've got the full swap in and almost done. The motor runs and all the wiring is done. His question was will he have to get a si console so he can put on a shift boot. I looked at his auto console and it looks as if there no mounting holes or a place to screw the boot into place w/out drilling his console. any help here would be appreciated. Thanks
The above page gave me a lot of info on how to do mine.
But here is my writeup.

sorry to bump an old post.
i made the two electrical connections. the larger gauge black/white wires are together, and the green and black wire described as the parking light indicator are together. oh yeah and i had my foot on the brake. not sure it matters though
car wont start. i tested with a fluke at the large gauge bridge and it gets +10v when the key is turned so it seems to be wired correctly. what else do i need to check.
