Default Sprint Springs on EG 2 door

Hey guys I need some help quick, I'm installing some sprint lowering springs on my 93 civic EX and I wandered which spring goes in the front and rear. I did a search but nobody has said anything about front/rear placement, just how to do the install. One of the springs has even spaces, the other has the coils closer together on one end, more coils I guess would be the right way to describe it.
Thanks for the help!

the one that looks beefier should go in the front, the front spring rate is supposed to be higher.

that makes sense, now I have another problem. I have the spring compressed, but when I try to loosen the top center nut ont the strut, it rotates the entire sleeve on the shock instead of loosening the nut. I cant exactly hold onto the sleeve, and I dont wanna use vice grips for fear of damaging the shock. Maybe I should've broke the nut loose when the spring was "sprung" I need to get this **** done already!

there should be a hex hole at the top of the strut piston that you can use to hold the shaft from turning. do not use any tools on the piston/ shaft
