Default My '90 CRX Si project: Sir II swap with lots of other on going progress

This is my '90 CRX Si I just bought a few months ago I already finished the motor swap and suspension install (had to rush it unfortunately) with most of it documented. I still need to get an exhuast and new front struts for performance reasons but the next project on the list is converting to OBD 1 since the power band is soooo much nicer than my OBD O setup. The paint is pretty bad but that will have to wait a few months due to bad timing on having to get the car running for needed transportation. I also happen to have a 1/24th scale model of this car so I am also doing a buildup of it and documenting the progress, the link is at the bottom of this post

I even have a 1/24 scale REX I am building just like my real one.

Yeah I know it needs paint badly. I don't know what happened exactly other than some damage and repair to the front before I ever bought it. The plan was to swap it and paint before I ever started driving it but since my DA went bye bye I had to get this thing running ASAP so the paint is going to have to wait until Tax return season. I was able to paint the engine bay though and I know most people on here would agree that the engine bay and motor is the most important part of any goo Honad buildup so i am off to a good start.

looks nice. i would wait to get paint until you can afford security measures for it as well, alarm, removable steering wheel, lojack, gun, dog, kill switches(those are free),infrared laser system, gps tracking, backup battery for alarm, motion detector machine guns, wheel locks, video camera's, clifford alarm tilt sensors, thief detectors, theft coverage on insurance(underrated but worth it once you got considerable money in your car. save all reciepts).

buff it and drive what's left. it will come back. rob just loves his paint too much and he's prolly sore from boxing day. if we have to start whoring out pics to show him up we'll get your back.

ps- rob, i know your car looks great- don't take it too personally.

Unfortunately I could not score an LSD for this yet but it is still fun as hell to drive anyway, on/off ramps are a freakin blast!!!

And yeah as far as the paint goes I don't really care as long as I can pop the hood and have it look nice like it does. Having a beat paint job also makes most people think my car is as slow as it is faded....................WRONG.

Nice job - I love the electric power steering you've implemented.

I suspect some mods are playing around behind the curtains...I posted this in another thread. I did not bump a 16-year-old thread to post about something totally unrelated, lol.
