Just like the title says.

I have just discovered that the cause of my coolant leak is coming from the connecting hose that runs from under the intake manifold, into the thermostat housing. When I looked it was completly out, with a broken O-ring and coated with what seemed to be grease.

Anyway, I need to reseal it. What would you guys recommend to do it with??

Bump for the guy who doesn't know if to just replace the o-ring, or use epoxy... a.k.a: Me.

 

Recently did same work, replace the o'ring man, make sure it is fat enough and coat lightly with oil before putting together or the o'ring will bind.

 

So just the O-ring should hold?

...I'm assuming when you say the same work, this was on the same metal hose the plugs into the thermostat housing?
