Default HID retro finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pics are not that great, I still need to clean the outside from all the fingerprints. I bought the Projector set off of ebay with ballast and the guy said they were from a E46 3 Series. I mounted mine with the majority of the projector on the inside on the reflector. Overall it was a lot easier than I though it was going to be. What is the best way to align them? I installed the metal piece for the "cutoff" on the upper half of the projector, was that the correct way?

Your Projector is upside down. Are you on HID

Yea, the projector works like your eye. The lens flips the light over.

Your Shield Is upside down.. and You need to shroud that projector correctly because you will cause some glare with the light escapre from the open sides.

ewwwwwwww, BMW lights on a Civic.

hehe, jus kiddin. nice job.

naw dont paint the housings, you got a EK. in the 96-00 civics, the headlamps are large and really make the look of the car from a distance and close up. Keep em chrome, its one part of the car where chrome looks good. Now on the EG with its uglier wavy headlamps, yea the blacked out looks ok, specially on compound lights with projectors, like JDMlifestyle has.

Can I just flip the shield or do I have to flip the whole projector?

Flip the whole projector.. Which means you will have to re-open your headlights, eh? That sucks. Find out the answer to things you are unsure about BEFORE attempting to do them next time.

And for expletive's sake, do not post pictures of your retrofit and not include pics of the cutoff. No one gives a rat's *** about how your headlights look, we want to see how they perform.
