patience, my son.

are you saying that the skunk2 mani that you bought doesn't have that pipe? i don't know about cali, but no auto parts store here in ohio sells skunk2. also, that flange in your pic looks totally different than the flange in the other pic.

You should be able to tap that hole with a 3/8" NPT and then buy a brass fitting to screw in and attach your water line.

Go get a manifold gasket. If there is a leak around the manifold it isn't going to idle right. Why would you try to put it on w/o a gasket?

you need a barbed brass fitting, its a rad fluid bypass to the head so you don't want it to leak, use some loctite when you put it in

Why the hell wouldn't you use a manifold gasket?

Put it on, there's an air leak.

Did you bleed the air out of the coolant ?

You need to slow down and read up a little.

Check engine light on ? Was this doing it before you did the manifold swap ?

seriously, put down the wrench and stop trying to do things before you understand whats going on. take your car to someone who knows what they are doing and read up before you attempt anything else. im not trying to be mean, but its the brutal truth man...

so how do u bleed the air out of
the coolant?

the only CEL code is 9...which came up after i converted to obd1..
but my car still ran....
before putting on my skunk2 manifold it would only rev up
to like 2.5k then when it got warmed up it go back down
to normal........

ill search on how to bleed the coolant....
i update tomorrow....
