Default CTR Pistons handle a 50 shot?

I need to do more research, but I am throwing around the idea of spraying a 50 shot on my R, but I have heard that the CTR pistons can have some issues with spray. Any advice?

Also, I wanna buy a SMSP multi-piece header soon, how much do you guys think I could get for my JDM 4-1 header with a minor dent/scrape in the bottom?

wouldnt worry as much about the toda spec c's as much as i would the big compression from those pistons and they arent forged.

I woulnd't spray at all on ctr's. Too much compression, you'll eventually blow a hole straight through the piston.

I'm pretty sure if you set it up right you can run a 50 shot on cast pistons. I'm no nitrous expert, but as long as there is properly retarded timing and the Air/fuel ratios are setup, and the nitrous spray is setup up properly, it would be no different than gaining 50 hp NA on cast pistons.

I also have theory on nitrous as well, pertaining to the "retention" of the nitrous shot and the cams. The nitrous is inducted into the engine exactly how the air is, when the engine is in its optimal VE range, it is retaining the most of the intake charge it can, therefore as long as the nitrous is released during the engines optimal VE range, the nitrous will be in the controlled combustion environment and will also have the greatest benefit in this range. We know most of the honda engines we deal with have the highest VE range in the 6500rpm and up depending on the build. Just my 2 cents.
