how do you take the lower ball joint out on a 90 crx dx. I have been hitting it with a hammer trying to pry it and its not coming off

 

Did you take the snap ring out ?

 

where the boot is theres a snap ring, take it off with snap ring pliers or needle nose, put a large impact socket over it and beat it out

 

I remember doing this a few months back. Removed the snap ring and took over 30 minutes of hammering to get it out.

the flat side is side it goes out.
put something behind it to cath it. don't ask me why i know...
bfh should only take a couple whacks.
