I would like to know from what Usdm motor should I get these parts for my 1st gen b16a:

-Distibutor cap and rotor (and distributor o-ring)
-Thermostat and gasket
-vtec solenoid oil screen and gasket

1. 90-91 integra
2. Either the Del Sol DOHC VTEC or 99 Si...I got mine from a 94 Del Sol VTEC
3. I am not too sure because I haven't replaced those yet. But I would assume get one from a model that came with a B16

this one is actually a little harder to get new.. the dealer wont sell it alone.. you have to buy the whole solenoid.. best thing to do is probably get it used from a similar motor..

 

err actually you can buy the vtec solenoid rubber gasket by itself. You dont have to buy a whole solenoid.

Thanks guys for your replys and the pics! But, do any of you know if I can buy the "gasket" that is between de solenoid and the other part of the vtec solenoid?? (I think 3 bolts retain the 2 pieces togheter)

 

yes you can but that gasket as well but you shouldnt need it. Why would you need to take the solenoid apart?

 

ernie: just to change every gasket on the solenoid while I'm there...

 

Just dont take the solenoid apart and it wont leak.
