Default auto to manual on a DA????

i am about to pick up a 93 auto integ ls off my friend for 300bucks. couldn't pass up the deal but i was interested in switching it over to manual and wanted to know if it was worth the hassle? any comments are welcomed! thanx guys

I swapped over my EJ1 from an auto to a manual. It's a good learning experiance, and I'm very glad I did it.

Its worth it if your mechanically inclined, Just keep in mind you probably spend more than a $1000 in parts

damn is it really that expensive for the changeover? i figured no more than 500 or so by chance does anyone have parts list needed for the swap?

pedals, dash, tranny, linkage, wiring and a decent amount of fab to make it fit right. you'll also have to rip out some exsiting wiring that is no longer needed. check like, hondatuningmagazine.com for tech tips or just ask some guys on here. but yeah, wrong forum dude. haha
