right now i have a 89 civic si but the body is shot and the front end need alot of work so im picking up another 89 hatch but its the std one im guessing cause its a 4sp no rear wiper **** like that but the body is 100% it looks almost new but in my si i have a z6 and i just wanted to make sure the swap would go ez the vtec isnt wired in my si yet but i do have a 95 ex with all the harness and will all my si sway bars and **** go on it too thanks

 

You can't use the 95 EX harness in the 89 hatch. Don't even try to use an 89 Si harness. The plugs are different and it will be more work to try to make it work than to modifiy the base harness. Just do a search for the MPFI swap and modify the harness in the base model civic.
