are they really indemand? i mean yes J's racing made them and i know those go for a pretty penny. Now Passwords JDM has them and off companys have ABS plastic knock offs.. but really how do you feel?

They arent really indemand but people are choosing them over a CAI because they perform the same if not better... The other advantage to that is that if you live in a wet climate you dont have to worry about sucking water up. The carbon fiber is for the "bling" factor otherwise you could pick up a black plastic one for 40-50$

i had one on my b16 and didnt like how it was touching the spark plug wires and wire harnesses. I had to get rid of it after about a month and went back to stock intake.

i use an AEM short ram, IMO it looks better than carbon fiber...

In the hybrid forum there was a thread long ago
but yeah umm they arent all that great (performance wise)
but again dont quote me do a search and find out for ya self
over all looks great and umm its all about the BLING factor at this point of the game

the carbon intakes are just for looks......i've heard they dont perform as well as a CAI but w/e....i have a AEM short ram and it works awesome...but my friend has a 99 si and he's got the carbon and he doesn't like it very much....he has some clearance issues

i think they look stupid and fat. no point and looks like ebay knot offs... even the real ones do too. but thats what I think.
