GSR rear sway bar onto a 96-00 civic... will it fit?
They should work...as long as you have the other two brackets that connect to the subframe and the 99-00 si endlinks.
Looks like this:
Looks like this:
i have one si endlink but i am not sure if it is right or left. it has a R on it. so i think it is the right side. i am guessing that would be the passenger side?
i have a itr rear sway bar also. so i guess my question on this topic is all i need the the subframe plates and the left endlink and all this should fit?

If you're putting an ITR bar on an Ek you should really look into subframe reinforement. You don't want to have your subframe rip out. Look into comptech's subframe brace and http://www.a-spec-racing.com too (although a-spec doesn't seem to be answering my emails, so I don't know if they're still making them??)
yeah, 22mm (USDM) or 23mm JDM) ITR rear sway bar = subframe reinforcement a must or you'll tear the **** out of it and pay out the ***.
Beaks kit is minimum, ASR or Comptech is the best option.
GSR rear sway bar, you don't need subframe reinforcement since it comes that way from Honda stock (13mm on SI, GSR is 14mm)
PS. civicferio I beleive is Charleston screen name on here, IM him and he replies fast. I sent him an IM christmas eve and got a fast reply.
ASR is $180 plus shipping

Quick question, I just recently purchased a GSR rear sway bar but it didn't come with the bolts/nuts on the inner most part of the "D Brackets" does anybody know what the bolt diameter and length is and grade of bolt used? As I will be paying a visit to Home Depot for them.
i forget what the grade is but home depot doesnt carry them.. i think people have reccomended grade 8 i think.. but i dont know..
from what i remember suspension bolts require a grade higher than HD carries.
i am not sure tho...however.. if u do get parts at HD.. get the highest grade bolt they carry in that size

EeeJayEight Thanks for the feedback I'll check with Kragen/Autozone/Pep Boys for the grade 8 or better bolts. Would you say by looking at the pic above that they are approximately 1" long?
As an update to the original poster the brackets do not fit, at least mine didn't and my bar and brackets were from a 94 GSR.
