Ok, so here's my car in the current form:



Plans:

- Remove spoiler and fill in the holes
- Go a lil lower

Now for wheels, im undecided. Keep these ones and go fully polished or polish the lip and color match the rest of the wheel black. The other idea is getting the Rota D2 (SSR SP1 copy) in black.

If you choose other, let me know what idea you have.

Personally, i would not buy new rims and tires. Either polish them, paint them or leave as is. Save your money for other stuff that you want to do to the car.

the D2's dont even fit right without spacers. id just keep your wheels and do what you want to them. also see if you can pick up a set of OEM optional side skirts. itd really set the car off

 

Keep the wheels the way they are! They look great. Maybe lower the car more and pick up the OE optional sides like DoctorGSR said.

i would slam it to atleast a finger gap and take off the spoiler. i'm not really feeling the D2's. don't the d2's only come in 17's? i don't like 17's on tegs

Full black would be nice. The whole polished thing is getting pretty boring IMO. Only a few cars can really pull it off, and usually that is with a clean looking lip kit all around of some sort.

Is that the SiR-Vtec lip of the ITR lip for the 94-97? I can't ever tell the diff.

i believe that's the ITR one. you can tell cause the itr one has "slits" on the bumper ends while sir one is smooth and resembles the eg oem lip

 

kill the spoiler and pick up a hype R front lip and get some new rims. those ones you have now are to showcasee

I am taking off the spoiler (stated in 1s post), that is a hype-r lip, what exactly is a "showcasee" wheel?

really? that sucks, i dont want 17's, 16's are perfect.

 

I think the wheels you have on it would look a lot nicer if you dropped it a little bit, but the wing definitely needs to go. Leave the front lip, its clean.

 

Yea, stick with 16s, don't go bigger.

Yup. I had 17's 2 years ago, ill never go back

Your teg looks good, drop it some more and maybe paint the wheels different if you arent feelin that color.

I used to have 18s on my Celica GT. It was the worst ride ever. Swapped out for a set of 16 GT-S rims. Best move ever.

 

Oh..that is also an idea, why not just paint the whole rim Black? Saves you cash. The rim design itself looks nice.
