Default Transmissions final drive

What do you all motor people run transmission wise and final drive? would a ctr tranny with 4.9 final drive make me go all the way to 5th in a quarter mile on like 15s with 195/50/15 tires? How will it be for daily driving it?

If the car is still driven on the road. Maybe it's wiser to use the JDM 96 spec ITR gearbox or the USDM ITR gearbox with the JDM 98 spec 4.7 final drive.

i daily drive 98spec itr gearbox. from the factory its got the itr 1st, 2nd & 3rd with GSR 4th and 5th and 4.785 final drive.

pretty good for the street, freeway rpms are slightly higher than id like but its managable. ocasional 30-31mpg.

itr or gsr tranny is great for the street. throw a 4.7 in either and you have a nice monster tranny. 4.9 is just too much.
