I need to purchase a hood for my crz since the body shop scrapped mine since i told him i didnt wanna get it painted cuz i wasnt gonna use it. Im looking at a carbon fiber sir hood. But are there any other cool hoods like is there a mugen style?

I have a b18a that is going into it. Would a Sir carbon fiber hood work with that?

 

b18a will clear any hood fine

b vtecs have clearance issues... the zc still hits too. I have a stock hood chopped to expletive

Any high quality CF hood is going to set you back a pretty penny, only "cheap" CF hoods you will find or made like sh_t anyway, the weave looks like crap and they worse. Unfortunately a CF hood is subject to "you get what you pay for" more so than almost any aftermarket part on car. Vis is nice, Fiber Images is Nice and I am sure there are some I don't know about but if you just buy a hood online based on price alone you are going to be VERY dissapointed. Go with a brand that you can see in person before you buy because ugly CF is just depressing.

 

he is a scammer he took a 350 dollar deposit for his crx because the motor was still in that took almost a month then we go to pick it up and the whole front suspension isnt put back together and it breaks going onto the flatbed. After this whole dick around he says hell give my buddy his money back ------ then he doesnt answer any im, phone calls, and he records fake voicemail that says he will be on vacation for like 2 weeks or something. HE IS A LIER AND A SCAMMER PERIOD. I JUST WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW POSSIBLE. We will find him its not hard. Sorry buddy payback is a bitch and a lot worse that 350 bucks or a new hood for your other crx if thats what u spent it on
