I agree. I do my own solder work as well, especially since I work in an electronics lab, and I am 2M qualified. I also use Crome!

http://www.gbrtuning.com

its custom tuned with a wideband on your car.

if long distance from NJ then gimme full specs and I'll burn the eprom based on similarities with previous customer's setup.

I would DEFINITELY reccomend mtber/Phearable.net... I have gotten multiple ECU's from him and sent multiple people to him, and I will continue to do so... His work is top notch, and customer service is awesome... Very knowledgable and friendly guy...

mtber/Phearable.net gets my vote

I got 2 of mine and have sent others to Phearable. You can't beat their price on a chipped and socketed ecu and the base maps work great.

The original poster lives in Florida so those two people are local to him also is maybe why there were only two options.

Some people including myself would rather pay someone to do work they are not 100% sure of doing. That is what the original thread was about.

I have got about 6 ecus from phearable and they are great. I have also gotten 2 from Kenji. Phearable has been alot easier for me to get ahold of and get exactly what i needed.

also bought one from xenocron, both were very well done. flawless soldering, packed very well. from me for both. i needed a little more than just a chipped ECU from phearable and he got me exactly what i wanted. customer service, even after the sale, was great.
