so i got tenzo seats for my b-day the dude said that they would be a direct bolt in to my 91 crx.. i was sceptical because seriously what just bolts right into an ef. but i got them anyway and got them to my grampas shop and wadda you know the bolt patterns between my seats and the new seats were like night and day. complete opposites. so i would like to know if there are any seats that bolt right in or a kit or anything! help!

 

i put a sparco sienna in mine with a mount kit that sits it as close to the floor as possible. two problems (minor). first i had to use rattail file to open one of the back bolt holes up sligthly because it was about 1/8 inch to short.

second you sit higher because the thickness of the seat itself is about twice that of the standard crx seat. i looked at all kinds of solutions. i would have prefered a NOS drivers seat but at 1k plus it just wasn't worth it. the sparco was the easiest more or less quick fix. sitting higher as actually kinda nice after i got used to it.

 

They'll bolt right in if you spend 30 mins on a pan swap.

I was 16 when I did a pan swap. Go for it if you like the seats!

 

A pan swap won't work on about 99.999% of the seats. Sorry to pop your bubble bro.

Just get either custom sliders, or order a set of CRX siders from tenzo.
I know they make them, I put a tenzo seat in a crx a while ago with a set of sliders from them. Still not perfect, but I was done in 20 minutes with a dremel.
