Default Couple SCM 4inch Exhaust fitment pics and a 35R sneak peak...

I just wanted to share some pics of my 4 inch Sport Car Motion (Thanks Loi!) exhaust and a few of my project that will be tearing it up next spring.

Here are a few shots of my setup.. things are just temporary installed on an extra short block I have.. The new bottom end and complete setup will be installed in a month or two.. this was just to check for fitment issues.

Then there was my old time friend... Mr Squirrel. He has been hiding under my heat shield for about 2 years while the car has sat.

Enjoy!

I had the exhaust fabricated at Sport Car Motion in CA. It was about 1500 with materials (All Burns Stainless 304) and labor. My uncle made the down pipe and dump tube.

Everything looks decent. There is about an inch clearance between the control arm and the exhaust which is enough. Fits like a glove

The wastegate head is close to the radiator.. I might need to fab up some brackets to give that some more clearance when the engine flexes, or turn the wg/elbow slightly.

Somethere there seems mismatched. You have an enormous, arguably overkill exhaust. You have a pretty big turbo. You have a big 44mm Tial. Then you have a small, poorly flowing exhaust manifold. ???

The manifold is the T4 Inline Pro. There have been quiet a few over 700 hp no problem. Arturbo runs the same one and it seems to work fine, Brian Fischer ran one and had pleanty of mph. I wont have any problems, Ive done my homework What makes you think it will flow poorly lol..?

I have the muffler hanging on zip ties (gotta get some more hangers for the muffler) it will come up some with the factory rubber hangers.

Hey Beepy I know for a fact that the same exact manifold made over 800 whp. I think you should do your home work. I just think its so funny that most people on Honda-tech seem to think you need a top mount equal length manifold to make good power. I'm sorry if I came across to have an attitude everyone.

Burns material isnt cheap.. thats for sure. It could be replicated for less with a cheaper stainless.. You gotta figure 900-1k in material. The parts really add up quick. Plus a good solid day of fab time.

Theres an inch of clearance from the LCA when the suspension is compressed? It looks theres only an inch when its uncompressed.

I didnt have the muffler hung properly.. I still need some rubber hangers. It will clear with it compressed.

Yea the exhaust is a little pricey but the way I look at it is that I never need another one.. even if I step up to a 4 inch down pipe etc later on.. The muffler is a Burns Ultra Lite. They have them here:

Pheonix thanks for the great deal on the radiator

Thanks for the complements guys

The Inline pro T4 mani has been tried and proven time and time again.
