whenever i get home, i smell like something is burning. i was smelling around the engine bay and found it to be coming from the intake, is this normal.

Probably a burned up clutch... does your clutch slip?

 

im a newb with clutches, how do i know if its slippin...

 

Doesn't engage or engages with hesitation.

 

Hm I have something like that going on in my car too. Reverse is hard to get into, but for the 5 other gears, it's fine except for fifth sometimes.

 

well i have this problem when im in second the car doesnt feel like its going anywhere, takes a few seconds for it to rise in speed.
