Default DA suspension question

Since the DA's suspension is closer to the EF's suspension, and the eg supposedly has a superior suspension (just what I've heard) does this mean the DA has less potential? I'm currently looking into purchasing a DA but I've never really looked into integras before and I don't know much about suspension theory or geometry, but I was just wondering if the DA would suffer from an older design. Thanks much.

never heard that before. i wouldnt say that DA has less potential, i do know that comparing my car(91 rs) to a 93 dx, my car has less wheel hope when lauching hard....if never found out why.

cars hp ratings are
91 RS: 140hp 127tq(93 ls engine)
93 dx: 130hp and 108tq

i honestly think that it has to do with the radius rods on the ef and DA chassis's.

the suspensions between both cars are basically the same, with minor variations(shock length....and control arms).ive worked on new civics and tegs and to me theres no difference.
