i just recently bought a b20 long block and i would like to do somewhat of a stock rebuild on it........... i wanna raise the compression by putting type pistons........ can i still use the stock b20 rods? or do i need to shave them and such?

Dude....your gonna need alot of JB weld to fill the 3mm gap between the piston and cylinder wall.

your going to need after market pistons if you want high/er compression. because stock B20 block have 84mm cilynder walls VS. stock B16/18 have 81mm walls.
