Default Power Door Locks

On my 90 GS the power door locks have not worked since the day I bought the car... The other day I discovered that my car had an alarm system so I was in the fuse box and I noticed that 3 or so fuses were missing. Could this be the reason my door locks don't work? Thanks in advance.

Take a fuse that matches from something else and put it in and find out.

I mean you can easily answer this question yourself. Pull out your owners manual and find out which fuses are missing. It's not rocket science

Bitz -

I don't want to be a smartass here, but are you sure you have power door locks on a 90 GS. Now before anyone starts ranting "it's a GS, it has all options", listen.

My brother currently owns a 90 GS, my ex used to own one, and one of the techs I work with at Acura owned one. Three 1990 Acura Integra GS's, and not one of them had power door locks. They all had power everything else (windows, mirrors, sunroof, as well as cruise control, ABS, etc.) All the other power/luxury (GS) options.

I've even discussed this with the tech at Acura that had one, about how we were surprised that no 90 GS we know of ever had power door locks. He additionally mentioned that he's never seen a 90 GS come into Acura with power door locks (and neither have I, but he's been a tech there years longer then me).

So I question whether you actually have power door locks. UNLESS, with this (aftermarket?) alarm system, someone had them installed. I mean do you physcially have the little power door lock switch on both doors? (black housing, chrome up/down (lock/unlock) button).

Wasn't trying to be a dick with this post, just want to try and help you. Let me know then, as I'm curious now.

I do have a lock/unlock button on my center console next to the ebrake so unless it unlocks something else then yes I have power door locks.

That's def aftermarket then because a stock power door lock button is on your door, to the left side of door handle (drivers door) or right side of door handle (passenger door).

Like this:

(hope that guy doesn't mind I'm using his pic).

So since all of the stuff you have is aftermarket and no where near stock/OEM...well I don't know because who knows how it was wired, who did it, if it was done correctly. Sorry man, good luck though.
