There is no reason too, thats why... use a z6 dizzy and ecu, that way you can correctly activate vtec.

I dont have any pics but i have done it, although I was using a full Z6 swap instead of just a head. What I did was cut two of of the ENDS on the Dizzy to bolt it down that is the only way to bolt it up. Or you could just convert to 0bd1.

The top distributor arm will be the only one that bolts on. The other arm (closest to the firewall) will also 'bolt' up, but the bolt will be OUTSIDE of the arm.

will this be possible to just run it like that? if so then sounds like no mods to make it fit?

Yes, of course its possible. But, it wouldn't be smart (and highly ghetto), and I highly recommend going obd-1. Or atleast going pm6 chipped with p28 fuel maps. I would keep some vice grips handy just incase the bolt holding the distributor arm closest to the firewall comes undone. (it happened to me when i was obd-0 d16z6).

You can fab a mount for the other two. There is a thread somewhere where a guy did it, was really easy, just have to get the timing right first.
