I am not looking to go all out with this suspension, just want a nice one for DD (not to hard) and still be able to perform well (trips to deals gap and spirited back road driving). I searched a lot here and got so much info I think I confused myself even more. I am coming from a drag racing background and the only thing I ever tried to turn fast were my bikes.
I have a friend who I helped do a fastbrakes 11" kit on and a full Omnipower sport kit on and his EG handles and stops like it's on rails.
I have the big brake kit already but my suspension is still stock. I want to upgrade and buying Buddy Club/Omnipower/Skunk 2 full coilovers aren't out of the question but this is just my nice daily driver so if I can do a nice suspension cheaper, I will be all over it. I have read a lot of good stuff about GC/KYB combo but for my type of driving (90% commute, 10% performance) would it be worth it to go all out or would it just be overkill? Thanks guys.
Oh and if my GC/KYB combo has a better combo out there from another brand, please post up and let me know why.

i'd say try ksport coilovers
they're around 800dollars, fully adjustable full coilovers, well worth the money.
just set em soft when u want it soft and hard when u want it hard..
or just get omnis, which are alittle cheaper, and should be soft enough for your dd'ing but dont have the adjustability.

90% commute and 10% fun...anything will really fit that bill. Whats the budget you'd like to spend?
GC with off the shelf 380/280 rates and AGX would work, if you can afford it why not go with Koni Yellows. A full coilover would be nice but for your requirements, nothing more then H&R sports on Illuminas is needed, so its really what do you want to spend. Nothing with higher rates will be what your after so i'd say GC/Koni Yellow. Its about $800 total ($299+ shipping for GC and $460 for Yellows) or if you want custom rates its $339+shipping for the GC.
The nice thing about GC is, if you decide you want to auto-x or totally change what your intentions with the car were...just order new springs to go in the GC coilovers
