2000 b18b turbo kit what to purchase
hi guys just need some light shed on my options for f/i of my 00 integra ls
i like the greddy kit out of all the kits i have seen. I know everyone says it is alot of money for what you are getting. well i dont really want to mess around with this turbo for a long time i would like to do it right and have everything just go together with no problems.
my issue is that i dont trust the fcu that the greddy kit comes with.
i have learned from my research to never skimp on the fuel system.
i am not looking for and extream turbo setup probably just 7 psi on a stock b18b.
does anyone have the greddy kit? does the down pipe come with a 02 threaded hole? do you currently run the fcu and blue box unit and do you trust it? or do you run some other form of fuel managemant and if so explain what it is and how it works.
is is better to go to some sight to peace together a new turbo kit with what i want
can i run a piggy back system with a in take high flow fuel pump rather than running that fcu module.
thanks for all the light you can shed on these questions. i just want a nice turbo setup that will not have any weak parts. and all these make it seam that im purchasing parts that i will later discard, so why spend the money on them.

Ok well you have a **** load of questions, but to answer from the begining.
1.The FCU that comes with the kit was ment to run only 5.5psi, while it is meant to run 5.5psi conservatively you can run past it, but be careful i would stay under 7psi.<that answers question #2. but only if you are running the blue box.
I run the kit on my b16, the stock downpipe does have an 02 bung, i have since gotten rid of the blue box and currently run Uberdata 1.7. Its just a chipped ecu with a program ran on it, tuned of course, research on this program, its heavily covered.
Running this kit is completly your choice, while it seems complete its not, its missing things and the directions to install suck monkey dick as well as the oil return lines
So to make things easy do what your budget and heart desires, i would suggest running uberdata or chrome or neptune, oh yeah they are also free, so that may help aid your decision. Piggybacks are the past, i would suggest to stay away from them.
Hope that helps

I would stay away from a piggyback and go with the Uberdata or chrome something along those lines.
I would piece together a kit you can get everything that you need and it can all be what you want it to be.
and even if you do decide to run a fcu I would also get a fuel pump you are better off to run to rich rather then to lean.

well fcu's are crap imo. you dont really have to run a fuel pump till around 300whp but i would suggest running one before that, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator will take car of things also
I would get a Rev-hard kit. It's AC compatible, comes with everything needed to bolt on and it good from low boost (6-8lbs~240-270 whp) to mid-high boost (25psi~400 whp). I had it on my car and with hondata I made 296whp @9lb stock. I would ditch the fmu set-up and run an ems (hondata, chrome, aem..)
