Someone Please Help!!!

I don't understand what has happened. I have a B16A GEN1, that all of a sudden will not start! I can turn on the high beams, radio, everything checks out fine with power. I just can't get the car to crank over. So after thinking about it, I push started the car with someones help of course, and what do you know the car started up right away. So then I made an assumption that it has to be the starter right? Wrong? After spending $298.00 on a POWERMASTER 9700 high tourque starter, the B16A still will not crank over. What do I check now, or should I just take it into a local performance shop. I was thinking it could be that resistor in the engine bay on the top driver side on the CRX. Please any thoughts on this issue will be of help at this point. Thank you for your time and have a Happy Holidays.

 

check and see if you have power at the starter.

 

Possibly neutral safety switch

 

Check all your grounds.
Check your battery terminals.
Check your clutch switch.
Check to see if you have an open wire between the starter and battery.
Check your main relay.
Is your ignition module good?

Maybe you messed up putting in the starter? (It happens) Re-check that.
