CRX Suspension vs Integra Suspension
CRX Suspension vs Integra Suspension... I was looking under my CRX to see how the suspension was set up. I noticed the suspension looked just like that of an integra (I have a 98 integra). What I would like to know, is what the differences are between the 2. If any.
the setup is basically the same. integras and civics are built from the same platform.
however the main difference is a difference by model year change. both integras and civics of the 1990-94 and 1988-1991 model years respectively, had forward radius rod arms that attach to the front crossmember. it basically controls the forward movement of the front lower control arm, the later civics and integras had a rearward arm in the front.
also, the mounting of the rear swaybar changed from the bottom of the rear floorboard, to the rear subframe.
other than that, the general design of the suspension is the same. most parts are unique to the car and model tho, there are only a few things that are more or less swappable like trailing arms and front knuckles.
