Bumper Cutout on 91 Si.
I have the Buddy Club Spec II exhaust for EG on my EF so it comes out the wrong side. Instead making an extension and risking losing the sound of it, I would rather cut the bumper and do something different. I was thinking of just cutting out on the right side and plastic welding the cut out back to the other side or just doing on big cut out that goes side to side. Does anyone know what im talking about when I say that?
like start on the left side and bring that cut out all the way to the right side and stop about a foot from the end and the curve back down that way its symetrical

a buddy of mine did the second small cut. just make a template of the other 'cutout' with a piece of cardboard, then measure from the edge of the bumper to the edge of the cutout and place the stencil there, trace it with a sharpie and use either a hot razor (like a banana knife or something solid) or a sawzall. you can sand it afterwards so try to cut inside the line and smooth it out afterwards.
it's hard to tell his isn't factory the way he did it, and he hasn't even got around to sanding it or smoothing it out yet.

cut around the bumper cut out then cut the same shape out of the side you want to put the bumper cut out on. now either use that bumper repare glue **** to glue the pieces back on in the opposite spots, or fiberglass them on from the backside.

fibreglass doesnt really stick that well to abs plastic bumpers, which is wat the stock bumpers are made of, trust me i've tried. even if you rough up the plastic it makes it a bit better, but not that good

you just then need to drill some holes so it can contact itself through the body panel

my spare 98 teg bumper is fiberglassed back together after it was pretty much ripped in 2, i didn't even put any bondo on it after and you can barely notice it. fiberglass sticks to plastic, abs, and anything else just fine if you know what you're doing.
