Default Question regarding shifter bushings

I was looking through trying to find a shifter bushing set and found these energy suspension pieces. I liked the Kartboy urethayne bushings I had on my Evo, so I want to go with urethayne again, and I really like this piece. I have two questions...Summit is kind of vague on the description here, and first of all I would like to know if this part will work, and secondly I would like some help identifying where they are in the shifter linkage. I have a copy of a Helms manual that I drew circles around what I THINK are the parts I will need to replace - can someone confirm these are the right pieces, and if they are not could you please point me to the correct ones? Thank you

While it seems easy, those things are a major pain in the *** to get put in properly becasue they are so much stiffer than the stock bushings. I don't know how long I spent under my car yesterday with bloody knuckles swearing at the damn things.

you're probably better off taking the shift linkage off the car and doing it that way...

What about the rear joint bushing at the bottom?

Does that one have any affect?

your diagram is correct. I have these same ones on my car also and I love them. They made the sifter feel very direct and really solid. Not too hard to install while on the car either. the rear one is a piece of cake and the other one just takes some strength.
