it's an '00, blue, 10532 miles, might be less. i got it at 4000 miles a couple years back from first owner. everything is basically stock except for the following - lp flushies in front, fender elim kit with lp rear signals, genuine yamaha technology racing dual oval high mount exhaust(in pics), polished frame, frame sliders, and bar end sliders, oh forgot...details are on the site above. except for the pc3 commander is taken off and sold. Runs beautifully, some scrapes on the left that arent bad at all in the upper portion of the mid. R1's are top of the yamaha sport bike line. If you have ridden/owned bikes before, a 600cc vs 1000cc bike....it's like day and night. You'll NEVER wanna go back to 600's.

I'm looking to get 5300. I'm sure you all think that's crazy in the winter and all, but eh, just what i want to get for it. If you don't like it...sorry. Also comes with a spare front tire (metzler) with probably 90% tread left. rear tire has approx 75% left.

I thought 98-01 R1's were carb? You had a power commander on it?!

 

heh, i thought i put it in this thread...or maybe it was on the r1 forum.

anyhow, i put in an 02 engine in there, power commanded that, engine i got ended up having more miles than i was told...died on me after ~1k. so i had to take it back out, and i had to go through the monstrous task of putting the old engine in there, and now I just miss that fi feeling really bad. so I'm just dropping this one to pick up an 02+

 

Oh i see. I had a 02 R1 i bought new. They are nice. Gl on the sale.
