Default obd0-obd1

my little brother just bought this ef hatch (Si) with a z6 swap. BUT the dumbasses who had it last were running it with the stock pm6 ecu and never wired vtec. also the dizzy is the obd0 one that came with the stock motor (a6, i think?) they broke the ends of the dizzy just to make it fit... ********..

what do i need to do to get it to run porperly? the IM is the z6 and not the stock pgmfi... so how the expletive they got it to run 4 injectors rather than the stock 2... i dont know!!

am i gonna need to buy an entire eg wire harness or can i just buy the conversion adapter so i can run the P28? also, if i do that... how do i convert the plugs to work on the obd1 dizzy and they also left the single wire obd0 O2 sensor... how do i convert all this **** over...or whats the easiest way??

the starter is fucked to... yeppie

It's sposed to be running four, if it's a si, only std and crx dx had two.

Reuse the entire stock EF harness and add obd1 distributor plugs. If they already got it running pretty much everything else is the same. You can use the stock 1 wire o2 sensor if you run a jdm P08 or P70 ecu. If you want to run it off a P28 then youll need to wire in a 4 wire o2 sensor. And buy a jumper harness.

And you can make your own wire harness to convert from obd0 to obd1 ecu plugs, just get a set of plugs, some pinouts, and get wiring. And the same thing goes for hooking up a obd1 or obd2 dizzy.

Give us a call at Rywire, we can help. I'll be around this weekend too.

This conversion package has everything you need if you don't change the injectors.

Also, your fan switch is different, you'll definately want to see if they hooked that up right.
We can provide you with a jumper from the OBD0 Fan switch wires, to the OBD1 round 2-pin plug for free.

o alright, i noticed that, the car would overheat at idle with the fan on. but its a full size radiator with one fan, so i figured they just took out one of the fans. now i see what your talkin about... it looks like they bypassed it to run the one.

yea ill def be giving you a call, thanks

thanks everyone else for the input too.

i guess if im running a 4 wire o2 inplace of a one wire, there isnt gonna be any color matching and splicing right... im gonna have to run it into the ecu as if you run vtec right?
