will the lsd differential from a b16 tranny work in an ls tranny?
if i can remember right, the final drive's have to match up. (i had the same problem i have a LSD that can fit into a SI tranny) So in that case the only LSD oem that should fit is one from a Y1 or JDM civic/sir (ef8/9). which has the same final (4.266) in the 94+ integra ls/rs/gs.
^^ this talking about me though since i have a LS.
Now i dont know if Hydro and Cable play a role in the LSD working or not, but you can refer to this if you have more questions.

the only cable tranny that cant swap in a new diff is the 90-91...they have different housings. the 92-93 ys1 cable trannys can accept the 94-01 diffs...with work

ok i dont know the years but i have a jdm b16a obd1 with a quaife lsd i put in last summer. so now im planning on getting the b18b motor because the b16 blew and i didnt want the b16 tranny on the ls motor because of the gearing so i was going to take out the lsd from my b16 tranny and put it into the 94-95 ls tranny. make sense?

why not just run the b16 tranny? its a great upgrade from the ls tranny.
