Default what to look for in a car at a used car dealership?

ok im going to a used car dealership in 30 minutes and i wanted to know briefly what i should look for. im going to look at a 98 integra gsr but i wanted to know what to look for in general to see what condition the car is in and if its been in an accident or not. im not really sure what to look for and i want to make sure i know what im doing. how can i check if the engine is in good condition? etc. etc.

give me your best input guys, anything will help. thank you

Frame issues
Paint job (can you see non-matching paint)
Under the car (leaks)
Under the hood (condition, leaks)

where would i look for rust specifically in an integra?
if i asked the dealership if it was clean title and it wasnt, cant i sue them?

No, they can sell you a non-clean titled cars as long as they inform you that it is a non-clean titled car. They cannot say that it is a clean titled car and when you run the Carfax it tells you that it is a non clean titled car.

Rust on the body.

i'd suggest checking all the fluid levels, make sure when you test drive...u kinda beat it up a little bit so u know that the car can take it...clean titles are not "important" but they help the car sell if ur not planning on keeping it forever....check the frame for rust (general rule), and to check for major accidents just make sure that the doors/hatch/hood all close fully and properly...anything wrong w/ those opening and closing could be possible frame damage and it's not worth it
