Sputtering issues
My friend has a 1990 CRX which has a JDM B16A motor in it. He is also using the JDM ECU. Since the day he installed it, he has been getting partial throttle sputtering issues. If the throttle is held at a certain position, the car will "sputter"
We recently changed the fuel pump from the stock Multi Port injection fuel pump to a GSR fuel pump. Car runs much better however the "sputter" is still there under the same circumstances? What can it be?

I had the same problem with my car... my timing was only off one tooth!!!! i would chech ignition timing also though and for any vacuum leaks, take a can of starting fluid and spray around the intake manifold and any vacuum hoses you can get to, if the idle goes up then you know you have a vacuum leak. this process is easy, fast, and really works!!!!
