Default Plug wire pops at dizzy...searched but want to know cause

So ive never had this problem before..then i disconnected the wire in question at the dizzy to do some work on my tstat..now everytime my motor hits 6k bam it pops out..wtf is the cause of this? Is it just engine vibrations? or is spark creating some kind of force that pushes the plug out..and if so, why? It seems to me like something is wrong rather than just my plug not on the dizzy securly because it is...

I let off fast and limp it to a nearby parking lot and I'm like expletive what happened, pop the hood and see the wire popped out at the dizzy. I'm not sure what caused it but it seems to be very common! bump for an answer

yea..im starting to think that theres something specific that causes it..bc it only happens right at 6k revs..everytime. Maybe timing thats too advanced could cause this?

umm, I believe the problem is bad plug wires as in not oem or ngk. What kind of wires are you running? Usually aftermarket plug wires suck!

This happened to me on my 1g crx, and my moms EK... They both have factory wires. It was strange, they just fall off sometimes

I had some msd wires and they always used to pop off in vtec..Switched to some NGK blue wires and it's all cool now..But if they're stock and popping then the boot is probably worn out..If they're cool and it still pops off then just use some zip ties or something like that to keep them on..

theyre brand new belden wires! I guess ill use zip ties like everyones suggesting but it still doesnt make sense to me why a perfectly good wire with a nearly brand new boot would pop

Are those the ones from napa..?? If so I used those also and they worked fine on my old stock hatch..But they popped off on my modded crx above 6000rpms..For some reason alot of those aftermarket wires just arent good(Besides ngk blue)..I dont know why

I always zip tie my wires, never have a problem. It's free, and it eliminates a cause of failure.
