My 3rd gen
Hey guys, I'm new here. I've got a 3rd gen 4ws-si that I'm in the process of painting (matte black), installing lots of cathodes and LEDs in, and getting ready to replace the timing belt (along with the acc and ps belt, the valve cover gasket, water pump, and alternator) on my own.
My problem is, when I was wiring the cold cathodes for the foot wells, I tried powering them with the former cigarette lighter (which was removed to make room for a switch panel), but I couldn't get any power out of the wires. There are four wires going to the cigaretter lighter / ashtray, but none are powered for some reason. Has anyone ever encountered this problem? I checked the fuses and none are blown. Anyone have wiring tips for a 3rd gen?
Also, Does anyone have experience changing a timing belt on a 3rd gen? Anything to be careful of / prepare for?
I'll post a picture as soon as my host gets repaired.
