Default chassis question

what is the easiest way to tell if a chassis is good or bad. im asking becuase just recently a friend of mine purchased a dc2 without a car fax. and when he takes corners he gets alot of understeer. the car is pretty much all stock suspension but still has to much understeer. car is a 94.. the undercarrage is well maintained and in good shape so i was thinking its the chassis. so my question is what are the key things to look for when inspecting the chassis and simply, how do you tell if its good or bad?

Default Re: chassis question (valve timer)

Even in perfect condition, that car is going to understeer. The amount of understeer would vary depending on a number of factors, and your friend should begin by inspecting the more obvious ones before assuming its abnormal amounts due to a problem with the chassis (which would have more pronounced and noticeable effects anyhow).
