What exactly is this hatch kit? Is it some sort of fiberglass hatch with a mugen emblem on it? Any pics?

Sounds like a rare piece. I'm sure an authentic Mugen kit would be $$

I had one way back in the day. Its a full replacement front and rear bumper. The rear bumper is similar to the mugen DA bumper. The side skirts are regular side skirts with nothing covering the door. Also no emblem cut outs. Ill try and find some pictures of it

i dont think anyone made a replica of the 90-91 (ef9) style kit. ****, i'm not even sure mugen sold any of the originals. still haven't seen or heard of anyone with the ef9 mugen front. only sides and rear.

but some companies made replicas of the 88-89 (ef3) style. autolook, erebuni, and han (maybe) had them. they also had second gen copies that had two side vents in them, and fit 90-91 usdm bumper lights. hth.

oh yeah, GTP has it on their site still. http://www.importfan.com

I know the one that speeddave has is from friends of mine. They took a mold of one and I know they still have the mold. Not sure if they will make any more but it’s worth a try if anyone is interested.

Give them a call: http://hpamotorsports.com/

Ask for Glen!

Hey speeddave, your car looks a lot like Regan's.

yup its regans old bumper. infact its regans whole front end on my car, i got the fenders, bumper, hood and doors from him. the color he painted his ef before he went full race car is almost identical to the factory color of my car. worked out nicely

ps hey matt this is steve, i talked with you a bit on msn about your zdyne setup.
