6'7" any other tall drivers out there?
I'm currently looking to purchase a 5th Gen Prelude and i'm wondering what others have done to create more room inside the cabin. I'm thinking some JDM recaro seats with low sitting brackets and an aftermarket steering wheel with extended hub should do the trick but am open to first hand experience
Are you guys trying to start a gay dating service or something? Who gives a expletive how tall someone is?
Anyway, my biggest complaint about the fourth gen is that the steering wheel doesn't raise high enough. I'm thinking about getting an aftermarket steering wheel - it may make a difference. You could also try that.

same problem here... the thing is that the ludes steering wheel not only doesn't raise high enough but is big as hell (I have a 4th gen, don't know about 5th) and i'm 1.85m i think that is 6'2" and every time i race my lude when i'm trying to quickshift my lest knee kinda hit the wheel when i pop the clutch fast...

My legs rub against the bottom of the steering wheel sometimes, depends on what I ate the night before

Haha. Nah - i don't eat a lot at all. Just used to play football - used to be the best. Trust me, you couldn't tell if you saw me.
Ha that reminds me - once upon a time ago, Mgags7 told me I need to wear some carbon fiber shoes.
I wish i could eat that much - ****, me and my boys go to hooters on wing night every wednesday, and i can only get through one plate........
But thats why they call me the KingPin...........

I'm about 6'4" 275lbs and my 4th gen sits fine. However, Kingpin is right the steering wheel can be a pain sometimes. They got nice rip-off Spoon and Mugen steering wheels with Momo hubs on EBay for like 50 bucks after shipping though. A buddy of mine got a TRD one for his MR2 and it's really high quality, I like it.
One man's trash is another man's treasure... I like the steering wheel hitting my legs... Means I can roll a "cigarette" while I drive ;-) I'll tell ya' nothing makes a 2 hour commute better then a nice California grown "cigarette"... Glad I don't have that commute any more...
I'm gonna be trying this in the next few days:

hope it helps my 6'4" self fit better.

andy, yeah its me! i'm thinking about getting a lude dude.... hit me up at prez1967@hotmail.com
Worse than the wheel hitting my legs is my right leg being pushed against the center console. It was a bit painful at first. After a couple of months of driving this thing, I actually have a large dark spot on my leg, which is apparently full of dead flesh (feels mushy compared to surrounding meat). That's probably why I don't feel anything anymore there.
So, it sounds like nobody here has actually DONE anything to adjust their vehicle? Some good ideas, I suppose, but some don't sound so easy. Like to hear from anyone who's tried them.
I'm 6'3", so not in as much a world of hurt as some of you, but my head brushes the roof and my knees hit the steering wheel of my 1992. It had occured to me that if I could extend the wheel a couple inches OUT of the dash, toward me, that might help a lot. (I was amazed after driving a 2004 Accord and TL what a huge difference the few inches of telescoping of the steering wheel made.) Anyone know how that might (safely) be done? (Might help headroom too, since I could lean the seat back further and still reach the wheel comfortably.)
I'm not really in the mood to lose my airbag, so nothing too outlandish.
Also, has anyone ridden in a 'Lude with lowered seats? I can barely climb out of mine as it is.
