I found this CF hood for my EF9 (conversion).
Should I get it or stick with the JDM?
Does it look ricey?

I dont like them with 2 vents like that..I prefer the one with only one vent ,,looks alot cleaner.. Here's some pics,..NOT MY CAR

I don't know about the one with 1 vent. You can see the vent from the front of the car.
On the hood (pictures) I posted the vents can only be seen from behind, all you see from the front of the car is a hump.

 

i think from the side since in the middle of the hood the jdm oem hood pops out and looks alot cleaner.

 

too much going on with the hood, I wouldn't get it.

I really like this hood for a turbo application. it's mild enough looking and would probably get rid of some excess heat.

Its funny to,, because the owner of that car got that hood buy accident,,He ordered an oem sir hood and they sent him that..Then he ended up keeping it and now he's got turbo and it most likely does help with the heat issue of turbos..

 

That looks a lot like a J's Racing hood.

 

that thing is fugly...i would get a JDM style or ZC style...cant go wrong with those.

 

i would stick with the one you have...especially if its functional.

 

dont like it, i say go with a SiR carbon hood, or ZC like previously stated

 

i think it is kind of ricey but hey its whatever floats your boat

Dude I want that hood. If you have it or know who has it please let me know. I've always wanted that hood.

 

It looks very functional. Not real pretty, but it looks like it would actually do something.

Thats what i was thinking, personally i think it would look cool on a car that had some additional body work ie chargespeed wing, J's lip, sideskirts, and perhaps even j's flares, like the pic above.

As for a relativly stock looking ef9 i think it would disrupt the flow. It must be functional with vents like that, i am sure that underhood temps would greatly reduce

 

I don't like it, but if you have some crazy aggressive body kit, it might work. On a stock looking car it just doesn't jive.

 

get the jdm sir version off of jhpusa it looks tons cleaner, yo'ull think so too, trust me.
