Default b18 into a 91 4d civic dx....will it mount up?

My friend and I are gonna try to tackle putting an LS into his 4d civic....we will have a whole integra with all parts needed to do the swap, so the hubs conversion, axles, etc. will be there....I am wondering if the engine will mount though....i had another friend who had some trouble with the mounts meeting to the car when he did an LS to a 91 hatch swap and ended up getting frustrated and gave up....I am wondering if we will have to get custom mounts for it to work......any ideas or help would be nice......HIT ME!!

Your best bet is to get after market mounts. I dont recall what mounts but you can piece together OEM mounts to get it in there but it does not sit in the car that good. I would just get some cheap after market mounts. You can get some cheap ones for 99 dollars. YOu can build your own custom linkage. Good Luck

this is one of the most fundamental principles for us EF guys.

search "b18" in the CRX forum. Search the archived posts and all your questions will be answered.

FYI, dont try and use the teg wiring! Use the lx one, and modify it for dpfi to mpfi. We ofer the job for cheap on our site, that or search and do it yourself.
