OK i just raced a 2005 VW GTI 1.8T. Took him off the line and blew him away and im only pushin 3 pounds for right now....they come with 180 at the flywheel so maybe 150????? at the wheels? I was just trying to get an idea of how much hp i mite have. ANy help would be nice. Thanks

 

you got a boosted ls at 3 pounds... im taking a wild guess here and saying you have about 300 whp.

who knows how much you have... jump on a dyno then post your results.

 

300 whp for ls on 3 lbs?? that sounds way too high.. but i dont know that much about boosted cars, but im pretty positive 3 lbs isnt gonna do that much hp

Yea it wasnt my choice i just blew my engine 2 weeks ago and was rebuilding it and i just got it back. Without knowing it my mechanic put my 3 pound spring in instead of my 7 pound one thats why im boostin so low.

I have a RS motor with an Eagle Stroker kit, drag turbo manifold garret t4 turbo, turbonetics wastegate, greddy type s bov, 2.5 cat back exhaust and im not tuned. I think thats it.

 

dude i doubt you're even at 200whp. 3lbs is nothin...prolly right around 180 or so.

 

I agree. Probably no more than 185 whp at the absolute most.

2.2, but i heard something about something else I dunno I couldn't hear my mechanic over the phone but he said something else was done so it might be closer to 2.3?

so basically you have no idea what your mechanics doing to your car?

 

No, the eagle stroker kit came with the engine when i bought it, it belonged to some rich guy who was gonna boost it but ended up selling it.
