New teg.
So I just got my new 99 gsr last night and drove it for the first time today. It's turbocharged and for the most part has a fully built engine. There's just this rattling sound coming from under the hood during higher revs, and it's starting to worry me a little. My friend checked it out today and couldn't seem to find the problem. Any ideas? Thanks.
who knows man...you bought a car that was alrdy turbo'd =/ Generally thats something you wanna do for yourself cause you have NO idea what kinda condition that motor is in...however new it might be. Who knows that could be rattling.
so you bought car thats been highly modified and probly raced the crap out of, now you are worried
well hell thats like getting with a girl thats been with 100 dudes and now you wanna know why theres a rash on your nuts
but anyways, it might be something simple like a loose heat sheilf or somehting

Does it sound like valves ticking? But seriously, it could be anything, ranging from something simple to something serious. I hope you can find out what it is before more damage occurs.
