Default ls/vtec to b20/vtec

my brother's got an ls/vtec, but the idiot who did the install put the wrong head bolts in and fucked up the thread in the block. the machine shop wants to charge $1k to rethread the block, so we are gonna buy another motor instead because it's cheaper. my question is what would i need if i wanted to put a b20 in? can i use the same motor mounts and other parts? What would i need to change?

the mounts are the same, you'll want to get a fpr to adjust for the increased size, and tune your ecu.... there are not many differences
do a search, this has been covered

Your search for b20 returned 191 results.
